How to measure your head and choose your cap size?

‘How to measure your head size’ is a basic question for everyone who touch wigs for the first time. Well, today our tutorial is about it.

Two tools are needed: Wig cap and Tape.

And Which details need to be measured?

Step 1 : Circumference

Measure all around the head along our hairline. (Average measurement is 22.5 inch)

Step 2 : Forehead to Nape of neck over crown

Measure from forehead straight back over crown to nape of neck.

( Position tape at center of forehead; Average measurement is 14 1/2 inches)

Step 3 : Ear to Ear Across Front Hairline

Measure from the front of one ear at base of sideburn, up across front hairline to the same point of the other ear. (Average measurement is 12 1/2 inches).

Step 4 : Ear to ear over the Top

Measure from one sideburn across top of head to the other sideburn.

(Average measurement is 12.75 inches)

Step 5 : Temple to temple across back

From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 15 inches.)

Step 6 : Nape of neck

Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck.

(Average measurement is 5 1/2 inches.)

Everyone has their own size, but all wigs have elastic band at the back for your adjusting. So don’t worry about this.
